Colloidal Silica is a binding agent used in precision casting applications and many industrial sectors. It is used especially in fruit juice production to provide clarity, in the paint industry to increase scratch resistance, and in the construction and building industry to provide fireproofing and thermal insulation. It is available in varieties with 30% and 40% SiO2 content.
